This Bucharest Wine Tasting Tour is a great option for wine lovers visiting Romania, with a very high degree of customization. Grapevine cultivation in Romania has a long and rich history, since the time of Burebista, the king of Dacia. In 2023 Romania is placed on a honorable 7th place among the major European wine producers and on the 12th place worldwide.
We will visit a famous wine-growing area, the vineyards of Dealu Mare area. Here we will pick a vineyard, have a wine tasting session, visit the vinery, have a short visit to a wine museum, maybe lunch if desired and we could include some other interesting sites.

This tour is held in English. However, I can help a bit the Italian tourists with my basic level of Italian language (parlo un po' di italiano). For large groups we could hire a tour guide for different languages (in this case additional fees may apply)

Itinerary - Bucharest Wine Tasting and Vineyard Tour by Eddie
Our tour starts in Bucharest and our are of interest is Dealu Mare region, 85 km north of Bucharest.
But before this, our first stop could be Snagov Monastery where we presume Vlad the Impaler - Dracula is buried.
Next stop could be the Wine Museum where we will understand more about Romania's rich history, technology and tradition in wine production.
Our main stop will be a vineyard in Dealu Mare region where we will have a wine tasting, vinery visit and maybe lunch.
Our tour ends in Bucharest after a full beautiful day.
For private tours - by request and only if possible - we could skip (ongoing) some of the tour components in order to have more time for others. Also, we could have a different tour configuration, based on a prior request (the tour price might be different in this case).
The order of visiting the places can be changed before or during the tour, at our sole discretion

- This tour might include components that are not suitable for persons having walking disabilities. Therefore, please contact us and we will try to offer the best option to you.
- Due to the traffic conditions or other reasons we cannot guarantee the return hour or the total number of hours agreed for this tour.
- During weekend time and official holidays, usually the traffic level is higher and our tour could last more hours than specified.
- We reserve the right to refuse or unilaterally cancel any tour/service/product you want to book or you booked with us, for any reason. In this case, you will be notified via your email address/phone number regarding this issue at least 24 hours before your tour date or as soon as possible. If cancelled, you may ask us to try to change the desired tour date or to change the tour, if possible. Moreover, if you did pay any amount of money for the refused/cancelled service, and you are not interested in changing your tour date or your tour, you will be refunded. Also please note: we are not liable for any losses or expenses caused by the issues above.
