By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Eddex Travel SRL's website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page and on the other pages mentioned above. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking or purchasing and using any of our services/products.
By booking a tour/service with us you agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions as they may be modified and posted on our website from time to time.
By booking a tour/service with us you confirm your age is 18 years or above. You also confirm that your personal information provided to us for the purpose of purchasing and use our services/products is correct. You are fully responsible/liable for any consequences resulting from your information being provided incorrectly.
Our company: Eddex Travel SRL, National Trade Register Office number J40/2205/2020; TAX CODE 42271935, located in Bucharest, 4-6 Luncsoara st, Romania. The company is authorized for two activities*:
1. CAEN code 7990 - Other reservation services and tourist assistance (and we use this CAEN code for all our tours that do not include accommodation and that last less than 24 hours and we don't ask for any advance payment). Tour Guidance License - 5427 issued by the National Tourism Authority
2. CAEN code 7912 - Tour-operator activities (and we use this CAEN code for all our multiple day tours - tours that do include accommodation and/or that last more than 24 hours and we ask for the payment in advance). * currently we are waiting for this authorization to be issued

Eddex Travel SRL is a tour guidance service provider and a travel agency (tour-operator). The main service we provide is the tour guidance.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy and any or all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client's needs in respect of provision of the Company's stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Romania. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
At any time, Eddex Travel SRL can modify this terms and conditions and publish the current version here, on our website. For your purchase and use of services/products on our website we are going to apply to our contract with you the terms and conditions available at the time of your purchase.
Contracting Parties
These terms and conditions/booking conditions will apply to all our services/products (tours) booked through our website or through our business partners (other websites, travel agencies, etc). The travel contract is established between you/the Client and us/Eddex Travel SRL. The contract is effective from the moment we send to you the confirmation of your booking.
At any time we may subcontract or transfer any or all of your obligations and rights under these terms and conditions.
Our services are provided to you for private domestic use only, and our contract with you is a private consumer contract. Thus, we do not accept any liability for any business loss caused by unsatisfactory fulfilment of your service order.
Our promise is to perform the service you purchased from us with reasonable skill, and, as far us possible in accordance with our agreement.
We constantly do our best to maintain all the materials on our website accurate. But we are humans, and from time to time we could make mistakes and have errors on our website. We reserve the right to rectify these errors before sending to you our confirmation for the service you booked with us.
In case of a booking not made directly by the client but by another person, or a booking for more than one client we are going to assume that all clients agree to provide personal information and to make a statement to accept all the terms and conditions in this contract.
Our Services
1.We offer tour guidance as authorised tour guidance company
Our tours are private or shared. We generally do small group tours. We offer tours of Bucharest and day-tours from Bucharest to other cities and places in Romania or Bulgaria. For these day-tours and for some Bucharest tours we are going to travel by car or maximum 9-seater minibus. All these tours are designed to take less than 24 hours and they are not including accommodation.
For these city tours or day-trips we are not going to accept any advance payments. The entire tour price will be charged on the day of your tour.
If the tour involves transportation, this will be free of charge if provided by us using a private vehicle ( you are going to pay for the tour guidance only) or could be included in the tour price if provided by a partner (third party).
2. We offer tour packages as an authorised tour operator company.
These tours will take more than 24 hours and/or will include minimum one overnight.
For these tours the payment is required in advance.
Please Note: Eddex Travel Company or the individuals involved in this tour can not cover any travel risks by a travel insurance or in any other way. Given the fact that travelling involves always some risks, we strongly recommend you to have a valid travel insurance to cover any potential risks, such as and not limited to: any unpleasant event, accident or even death, taking place during this tour. Eddex Travel Company or the individuals involved in this tour can not be held responsible/liable for any consequences, regardless of whose fault generated the consequences.
Our private tours
If you like any tour on our website and you want to book the private version of it, please mention this when you contact us.
On the tour's web-page you could verify the price for the private version of the tour.
If you book a private tour with us, you are going to travel in your own private group. No other person will be allowed, except our staff. You will have your own seat in the car/minibus.
For all our private non-walking tours (such as day-tours) you will be picked-up from your hotel or place in Bucharest and you will be the droped-off at your hotel or place in Bucharest. You have to be at the pick-up point on the date and time agreed and specified in the tour confirmation we send to you. If you will not be there at the specified date and time - and unless otherwise specified/agreed - we are going to cancel your tour. In this case, you are fully responsible/liable for any consequences.
We can organise our private tours on each day of the week, but you have to check the availability by contacting us. We always try to organise our tours only when we know that all the included tour attractions are open. Sometimes due to unexpected reasons, some of these places, museums, castles, monuments could be closed without a prior notice, while the tour is ongoing. For these cases we can not be held responsible/liable.
The tour price usually does not include the entry tickets fees (this is specified on the tour web page or agreed by both parties) for the sites we are going to visit. Being a private tour, the schedule is quite flexible. Thus, on your choice, you could visit or not the sites included in our tour package. If you want to visit a site you will pay the entrance fee at the ticket office.
Our shared tours
If you like any tour on our website and you want to book the shared version of it, please mention this when you contact us via e-mail/phone call/WhatsApp.
Please note - our non-walking tours (such as day tours) run with a minimum 3 person group. In case of less than 3 persons, we will cancel your tour. In this case, we are not liable for any losses or expenses.
On the tour webpage you could verify the price for the shared version of the tour.
If you book a shared non-walking tour (such as day tours) with us, you are going to travel in a small group of usually 3-7 persons and up to maximum 16 persons. You will have your own seat in the car/minibus. If you book a shared walking tour, your group will have maximum 25 people.
For all our shared tours the pick-up and drop-off will be made in the same place, in front of the Romanian Athenaeum building, in Bucharest. You have to be at the pick-up point on the date and time specified in the tour confirmation we send to you. If you will not be there at the specified date and time - and unless otherwise specified/agreed - we are going to cancel your tour. In this case, you are fully responsible/liable for any consequences.
We can organise our shared tours on each day of the week, but you have to check the availability by contacting us. We always try to organise our tours only when we know that all out tour attractions being included are open. Sometimes due to unexpected reasons, some of these places, museums, castles, monuments could be closed without a prior notice, while the tour is ongoing. For these cases we can not be held responsible/liable.
The tour price does not include the entry tickets price for the sites we are going to visit. If you want to visit a site you will pay the entrance fee at the ticket office.
Booking/Ordering our tours/services
Offline booking
If you like any tour on our website or maybe you are interested in a 100% customized private tour, please contact us via e-mail/phone call/WhatsApp.
Before contacting us, please take a look on the desired tour details and think about a preferred date for your tour.

We are going to ask you to provide us with some personal information, such us: your full name, your phone number, the tour name and type you are interested in, the preferred date and time for your tour, your pick-up address in Bucharest, etc.
We are going to need your correct phone number and email address in order be able to communicate and confirm your booking and all the details regarding the tour. Also, we need to communicate with you during the tour in order to ensure a good quality of our service, and to notify you of any changes regarding your tour. If you are going to fail in providing us with your correct phone number and email address we can not be held responsible/liable for any losses or expenses caused by not receiving the latest tour updates or any changes regarding your purchased service.
We can accept (exceptions could apply for some particular reasons mentioned on this page or on each tour description) booking made 1 or more days prior to the tour date.
After processing your booking request we are going to confirm the availability via an e-mail. Please check your inbox and if you can not find our email there, please verify spam and junk folders too. If you still can not find our email, please contact us.
Our offers are valid 15 days. During this time you have to confirm and pay your tour. If our cost will increase for the tours that were booked/paid several weeks/months in advance we will notify you about the price difference if any. Should you decide to cancel the booking that you payed for we will refund you the amount in full otherwise we will apply an additional fee as needed of the original amount.

We currently do not operate an automatic online reservation system
Confirmation of your tour/booking
We are going to confirm your tour/booking with us using your phone number/email address/WhatsApp.
Please pay attention to all the tour details we are going to provide as you are going to find important information/conditions regarding the tour/service you booked with us.
We are not responsible/liable for any losses or expenses caused by you not using this information we provide regarding your tour. Also, if our service will fail to be fulfilled because of the same reason mentioned above, we are not responsible/liable for any losses or expenses.
Your responsibilities as a passenger or client before and during our tour/time of travel
If your travel plan changes, please notify us as soon as possible.
When you book any tour or service with us, you accept the following rules:
- You have to be at the pick-up point on the date and time agreed and specified in the tour confirmation we send to you. If you can not find the pick-up point, please contact us as soon as possible on the emergency line mentioned in the confirmation email. If you will not be there at the specified date and time - and unless otherwise specified/agreed - we are going to cancel your tour. In this case, you are fully responsible/liable for any consequences. You could ask us to try to reschedule your tour, if possible.
- You will follow all our tour guide indications regarding the timings and the meeting points. If you will not be present at the time and place specified by the tour guide, we (the tour guide and the rest of the group) can not wait for you or come back for you, therefore you will be solely responsible for your return journey
- Our tours have a standard duration specified on our website. However, this standard duration may vary depending on many factors, such as: traffic conditions, weather conditions, queues at the castles, museums etc, the time spent on each stop or visited site, unforeseen factors, etc Thus, the real tour duration could be different than the specified standard tour duration and we can not be held responsible/liable for any losses or expenses caused by this
- You are not allowed to smoke, eat or drink (except water) inside the vehicles. In case of need, please notify the tour guide and he will try to stop for food and drinks
- During our tour you are not allowed to wander off from our group without the acceptance of our tour guide. In case this happens or you return to our group late , we (the tour guide and the rest of the group) can not wait for you.
We are not responsible/liable for any losses or expenses caused by you not following the rules above or not using the information we send to you via the confirmation email. Also, if our service will fail to be fulfilled due to the same reasons mentioned above, we are not responsible for any losses or expenses.
We can refuse boarding of any person/client both before or during our tour for the following reasons:
- he/she caries any contagious disease
- he/she is too noisy or disturbs in any way the tour guide or the driver or the other participants
- he/she is probably under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- he/she attempts to drink alcohol or to smoke inside our vehicle
- he/she or their luggage will probably pollute our vehicle
- his/her actions are prohibited by the Romanian law
- he/she carries any pet
- he/she is not paying the price for the tour
We are not liable for any losses or expenses caused by the reasons mentioned above.
Price & Payment
For any tour you book with us you have to pay the tour price specified at the moment of your booking or the agreed price.
- In case of a half day tour or 1-day trip (tours that take less than 24 hours and/or don't include accommodation): the tour price can be increased or decreased as we wish and without invoking a specific reason up to 24 hours before the tour, and we will need your acceptance
- In case of 2-day tours or longer (tours that take more than 24 hours and/or include accommodation): the tour price can be increased for some specific reasons (increasing of transportation costs, etc). If the prices established in the contract are increased by more than 10%, regardless of the reasons for the increase, the tourist can unilaterally terminate/denounce the contract without any obligation to the Agency, having the right to the immediate reimbursement by the Agency of the amounts paid.The prices established in the contract cannot be increased, under any circumstances, during the 20 calendar days preceding the departure date
For any tour that involves transportation, in some cases this is free of charge (you are going to pay for the tour guidance only) or included in the tour price if provided by a partner (third party).
Please verify the price according to your tour preferences (private or shared; number of persons, etc) on our website.
You are going to pay the tour price in advance for our tour packages; and on the day of the tour (before the end of the tour) for our city tours and day trips.
Currently we accept cash payment only.for our city tours and/or day trips and bank transfer and/or cash payment for our tour packages (tours that take more than 24 hours and/or include minumum one overnight stay)
Cancellation policy
How we and you could cancel or change the date of the tour
If your travel plan changes, please notify us as soon as possible.
1. In case of a half day tour or 1-day trip (tours that take less than 24 hours and/or don't include accommodation):
We reserve the right to cancel or change the date of your booking/tour
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any tour/service/product you want to book or you booked with us. We will notify you via your email address/phone number regarding this issue at least 24 hours before your tour or as soon as possible. In this case you may ask us to try to change the desired tour date or to change the tour, if possible. If you did pay any amount of money for the refused/cancelled service, and you are not interested in changing your tour date or your tour, you will be refunded. We are not liable for any other losses or expenses caused by the issue above.
We reserve the right to modify your pick-up time, if necessary, for any tour/service/product you want to book or you booked with us. We will notify you regarding this issue at least 3 hours before your tour or as soon as possible. We are not liable for any loses or expenses caused by the issue above.
If the tourist/customer paid for the tour in advance and he abandons (cancels) the tourist services that is the subject of this contract, he owes the Agency (Eddex Travel) penalties as follows:
- if cancelled 60 days or more before the scheduled departure date there is a 30% cancellation fee
- if cancelled 30 to 59 days before the scheduled departure date, there is a 60% cancellation fee
- if cancelled 29 days or less before the scheduled departure date or No Show, there is a 100% cancellation fee
In order to cancel your booking, please send us an email. If you do not get a confirmation of your cancellation by email in 24 hours, please call us. We are not responsible if your email message did not reach us.
2. In case of 2-day tours or longer (tours that take more than 24 hours and/or include accommodation):
We reserve the right to cancel your tour or change the date of your booking/tour (and the Agency is not responsible for the proper execution of the obligations assumed by the contract):
- when the non-fulfillment or defective fulfillment of the obligations assumed by the contract is due to the tourist/customer;
- when the non-fulfillment of obligations is due to force majeure or circumstances that neither the Agency nor the service providers could foresee or avoid, including but not limited to: changes in the airline, schedule or itinerary, delays in traffic of the means of transport, breakdown of the means of transport, accident, blockages, works or repairs on public roads), failure to meet the minimum group (not reaching the minimum number for the tour to run; as a result of last-minute cancellations or failure to obtain visas for all participants). The agency is not responsible for the damages caused to the tourist/customer as a result of the delays of the flights (including charter), the loss of luggage and other circumstances that are exclusively the responsibility of the carrier based on specific normative acts;
- when the non-fulfillment of obligations is due to a third party that is not related to the provision of the services provided in the contract, and the causes that determined the non-fulfillment of obligations are unpredictable and unavoidable.
If the tourist/customer abandons (cancels) the package of tourist services that is the subject of this contract, he owes the Agency (Eddex Travel) penalties as follows:
- if cancelled 60 days or more before the scheduled departure date there is a 30% cancellation fee
- if cancelled 30 to 59 days before the scheduled departure date, there is a 60% cancellation fee
- if cancelled 29 days or less before the scheduled departure date or No Show, there is a 100% cancellation fee
How you can cancel or change the date of your booking/tour
If your travel plan changes, please notify us as soon as possible.

Children
We accept children as our tourists and passengers, if the desired tour is suitable for children under certain age. Special rules apply:
- children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult
- for the children under the age of 3 the ticket for the tour is not required if they travel in the attending adult's lap. One child per adult only.
- you may use a child seat inside our vehicles and in this case you will have to pay the ticket for the child's seat (the tour ticket) regardless the age of the child
Your Luggage
If we travel by car/9 seater minibus each tourist is allowed to carry a piece of hand luggage, free of charge.
If you need to carry larger luggage or more then one piece you have to contact us before the date of your tour. We are not going to extra charge you for this, but we need to make sure that we have the necessary room inside our vehicle, to accommodate your luggage.
We are not liable for any losses or expenses caused by you not informing us regarding the presence of your luggage and the size and number of your luggage.
We do not check your luggage thus you are fully responsible for the items you carry.
We offer this luggage service under special rules:
- in case of damage or loss of your luggage we can not be held responsible/liable
- if you leave/forget any luggage in our vehicle after the end of your tour you must know that we can store your luggage for 15 days only, from the date of your tour.
- we do not accept animals inside the vehicles, except service animals, such as service dog. You have to notify us about your animal when you book your tour
We are not liable for any losses or expenses caused by you not informing us about any situation above.
