Transylvania Slow Tour in 5 Days by Eddie
Sibiu, Biertan, Brasov, Prejmer, Viscri, Sighisoara Medieval Citadel, Dracula Castle, Peles Castle and more, from Bucharest
Let's discover Transylvania in a slow way, a 5-Day boutique private tour by Eddie. By booking this tour you will have more time for the sites we visit and the surrounding attractions, longer lunch/free times, more interaction with the locals and the local cuisine, maybe more special accommodation options (4 star hotels/guesthouses). On request, some of our accommodation places might be (if available) in lovely homestays.
This Transylvania Tour from Bucharest will let us explore deeper and slower and discover what really Transylvania is. For 5 days we will discover the charming and authentic Transylvania, rural areas, famous castles, medieval citadels and towns, UNESCO fortified churches and breathtaking landscapes, locals and local food and many more.
Peles Castle is very much connected to our Royal Family, being built by our first king, Carol I of Romania, in 1883.
Bran Castle was initially a medieval fortress in Transylvania, and later on a lovely summer residence owned by The Queen Marie of Romania.
Brasov, a typical Transylvanian medieval town, placed at the mountain foot. Here you'll see the Black Church - the largest gothic church in this part of Europe.
Sibiu is a charming city in Transylvania which impresses with its medieval part while Biertan, Viscri, Prejmer are picturesque Transylvanian villages with their UNESCO fortified churches.
Sighisoara is a stunning medieval UNESCO citadel. We believe Vlad the Impaler - Dracula was born in Sighisoara and we will see here his father's house.
Let's discover the real Transylvania!
