Bucharest to Ruse, Bulgaria Day trip by Eddie
Visit the city of Ruse in Bulgaria. Admire the Danube river and the special Basarbovo Monastery. A nice and easy trip while being in Bucharest, a unique private tour by Eddie
This Bucharest to Ruse day trip is a very nice option if you want a not very packed day but a nice and easy trip.
Ruse is the 5th largest city in Bulgaria and back in the 19th century was the largest one. A charming and elegant city placed on the banks of the Danube river, Ruse still preserves many of its Neo-Baroque and Neo-Rococo buildings. Many of these beautiful buildings were designed by Austrian architects, hence the nickname of Little Vienna.
Basarbovo Monastery - a charming rock monastery and church, this special place has an interesting connection with Bucharest and Romania. This is the only rock monastery in Bulgaria that is still functioning.
Welcome to Ruse, Bulgaria!
