Above all, Maramures and Bucovina regions are known for Romania's  best preserved traditons. Maramures is famous for the wooden churches, some of which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, while Bucovina holds an amazing tressure, the UNESCO painted churches. And, obviously, it is much more than that.

Therefore, while planing your Tour in Maramures or Bucovina, you should consider some of the most important sites. Regarding Maramures, we should mention the traditional villages that surprise tourists with houses guarded by tall carved wooden gates, the local cuisine, and the fact that villagers still wear traditional clothes, especially on Sundays.

When we think of Bucovina, a picturesque, hilly region comes to mind, where life flows more slowly. The local food, the small rural museums and villages are valuable attractions here. But above all, we have here the amazing monasteries and the painted churches. They are painted inside and out, and the colors and pigments used are unique.

How to visit Maramures and/or Bucovina? Well, in my opinion they deserves a private tour of minimum 4 days.
